IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT WALKER EXHAUST SYSTEMS
- According to the European law, all converters and silencers installed within the European Community borders have to be homologated.
- Consequently, Walker converters and silencers are fully homologated to European Directive 70/157/EC, their subsequent updates and according to ECE-RI03.
- This will guarantee the end user / installer that the unit being installed is equal in back pressure, noise levels, fit and function to the original equipment (O.E.) version designed by the vehicle manufacturer.
- The homologation code can be found, in the lower housing of the converter or silencer. Configuration, position and size of the code are always according to the specific criteria defined by the European Directives.
- The homologation documents for each Walker converter or silencer can be provided should the Technical Vehicle Inspection (MOT) require them.
