Order procedure

Placing an order

Each order shall be an offer by you to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions. We will not be bound to supply any goods ordered until we have notified you of our acceptance of an order. We are entitled to reject any order and will notify you of any such rejection.

Delivery

Depending on stock availability, goods will usually be dispatched by 48 hour courier within 1-3 working days of receiving your order. We will contact you by email if delivery is likely to be more than 7 working days from the date of your order, giving you the option to cancel your order.

Postage and Packing

Unless otherwise stated, postage and packing shall be charged in addition to the price of the goods themselves and will vary according to the delivery address, weight and size of the goods ordered, and the method of postage preferred. Payment

Full payment for any goods ordered must be made by credit or debit card in advance of delivery. All prices are in UK pounds sterling. We will take full payment from your card at the time we receive your order. This does not indicate acceptance of your order. If for any reason your order is rejected, a full refund will be made immediately.

Availability

All goods are advertised for sale subject to availability. In the event of us being unable to supply the goods ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and a full refund of the purchase price will be given.

Substitute Goods

On rare occasions the make of budget and economy tyres we have in stock may differ to the make shown in the item description when you purchased your tyres. We will inform you if this is the case prior to dispatch, giving you the option to proceed with or cancel your order. Should we fail to get your approval for the substitution prior to dispatch and the substitute goods sent to you are not to your reasonable satisfaction, you may return the goods to us at our expense within 7 working days for a full refund of the purchase price.

Pricing

We try to ensure that the prices indicated on the website are up to date and accurate. However, we accept no liability for any errors and omissions and the final price of goods is the price in force at the time of us accepting your order. If a product has been listed at a lower price by mistake and you have ordered that product, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to either reconfirm your order at the correct price or to cancel it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods, a full refund will be issued.

Refund Policy & Your Right to Cancel

Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days starting from the day after the date your items are delivered. In order to return goods you must email us at sales@challengertyres.com or write to us within 7 working days of delivery of the goods confirming you wish to cancel your order. You must arrange for and pay the cost of returning the goods to us within 14 days of your notice of cancelation. If we do not receive the goods back from you, we may arrange for the collection of the goods from your residence at your cost. We will refund the sums paid for the goods delivered to you as soon as possible, but in any case within 30 days of you giving notice to us of your intention to return the goods.

In the case of MOTs, vehicle servicing and tyre fittings booked via our website, your right to cancel ends when the performance of the booked service begins.

Returns

All goods which you intend to return must be kept in good condition whilst in your possession. Goods returned to us under your right to cancel must be unused and must not have been fitted.

Faulty & Damaged Goods and Delivery Errors

If we delivered goods to you in error or the goods are found to be faulty or damaged upon delivery or not of satisfactory quality, please contact us at sales@challengertyres.com, quoting your order number, within seven working days of receipt of the goods. We will arrange to collect the goods at our expense and either deliver replacement goods or refund the price paid.

Warranty

If goods become faulty during their warranty period please contact us at sales@challengertyres.com quoting your order number. We will arrange to collect the goods from you at your expense along with a completed manufacturer’s warranty claim form. Goods are then sent to the manufacturer for examination. We will, at our option, replace or refund all or part of the value of any goods which have been proved to us by the manufacturer to be defective in material or workmanship.

Challenger Tyres accepts no liability to reimburse the purchaser for the cost of any work involved in replacing the defective goods.
